My best friend asked me to make a card for her father who turned 70 this past week. She got the card off pintrest from Jacquii’s blog. It took me some time to figure this one out. She does not give you any clue as to how she got those wonderful little creatures so darn cute on that card.
I learned that you have to actually stamp the herd animals on several different cardstock and do lots of fussy cutting to get them to come out so darn cute. Then you have to play match up to a stamped image on your card base. I also made the fence for this one. I did not want mine to look as perfect as hers because I wanted a rustic feel to it.
I also did an envelope for this card. Cut a 12 x 12 piece of cardstock down to 9 1/4 inches by 9 1/4 inches and then score at 4 inches using an envelope punch board. The envelope was made with soft suede ink and I used the hard wood stamp inside like I did for the fence. On the outside I used plastic wrap crunched it up and created tool for my ink. I just placed the plastic in the ink and sponges it all over the paper. Take a look.
Of course this is not the right size for the card I made but remade one for the card and it has already gone to its new owner.
