I have fell in love with the Curvy Keepsake box after I got a chance to borrow one from my fellow demonstrator Lori Sutton. I have not purchased one for myself yet since every time I go to order it, it is on back order yet again. That is how popular it is. So after borrowing it from Lori I decided my family would get A cute pig for Christmas. Check out this little guy and his little Santa hat.
I did not get a good shot of his tail but he has a cute curly tail on the back too. I love this little guy. Brings back memories of my Dad Dan who passed away back in 2001. He use to give me pigs when I had surgeries. Ever since the first on back in 1990, I have loved pigs and collected them. I have started cleaning out my collection but when I can make a really cute pig and share him … well why not share the cuteness with everyone. This little guy is going to have a goody stuffed inside his big old belly to share. Not sure Buckeys, toffee maybe? I have not decided yet. I am sure the grandkids will love him.
To make this cute you will need the following
Cardstock/Ink
- Pink Pirouette Cardstock
- Blushing Bride Classic Ink Pad
- Designer Series Paper of your choosing (here I used Melon Mambo DSP) for heart
- Basic Black Stampin Write Marker
- Black Cardstock
- Whisper White Cardstock
- Real Red Cardstock
Tools/Embellishments
- Perfect Pennants Punch (for the hat)
- Owl Punch (for the eyes and nose)
- Modern Label punch (legs)
- Curvy Keepsake Thinlit
- Dauber/sponge (blushing bride ink on outside of pig)
- Small white Pom Poms (top of hat)
- White feather string (hat)
- Glue
- Big Shot

Hi “Call from Santa” Thanks for your comments. I am sorry for the late response. I took some time off for Christmas with my family. I did the website myself. I use WordPress and I believe my theme is Sugar and Spice. I am not sure about the color as they are custom colors and they do not have a name. Good luck with your site. Amy

Hmm is anyone else experiencing problems with the pictures on this blog loading?
I’m trying to find out if its a problem on my end or if it’s the blog.
Any feed-back would be greatly appreciated.
