I find that crafting is becoming my therapy since my husband is lucky he has a job and for that I am grateful. He works in the oilfield industry so that when the prices drop at the pump so do the jobs at his company. Everything is changing, schedules and decreases in pay. I just pray he keeps his job till he finds one that will suits our families needs. So while you maybe happy that you are paying less for your gas remember those who work to get it for you are suffering great losses in that industry. Anyway enough of my troubles. Let’s get back to crafting.
I was not sure that I would like this stamp set but got it because I have some very dear friends that I am sure will love getting cards from me for their birthdays using this. My mom and husband are also very big coffee drinkers so it will go well with items for them. What got me the most was the steamed heart framelit. I dont know if you figured that I LOVE hearts. It is the steam coming off the cup in this cards. I am one happy girl.
This card is one we made for the Catalog Party, Lori, Leslie and I held. I made this one from the A Nice Cuppa and the Cups and Kettle framelits Dies. It was very simple to put together. I used a technique called Collar Fold which I was inspired by Frenchie at her youtube channel Click here to watch the video. The card measurements are Whisper White 3 x 6 (folded in half) and the Designer Series Paper is 2 7/8 inches x 2 7/8 inches. I wanted something small to show a technique and be beautiful enough to be attached to a gift. We also had the option to use the Envelope Punch Board to make some envelopes to go with them.
