A basket weaved background is the answer to what to do with all of those scrap pieces of paper. I have done it here in basic white. You, of course, can do it in any color that you have.

Using several different embossing folders or even the same folder, that part is up to you.  Check out the detail below on these two cards.

 

 

 

Card One

 

I loved creating this one. It was so fun. I had the basket weave background completed and did not know what to do with it. Then, I happened to run across another Demonstrator, Patty Bennet, I believe, and saw her flowers using the Simply Elegant stamp set. So I created these to go atop my basket weaved pattern.
