Beauty Abounds

Beauty Abounds and Butterfly Beauty is one of my new favorite sets from Stampin’ Up! in the new Occasions Catalog. Butterflies are one of my best friends favorite things. There is just something about them for her. Maybe they are her spirit animal, right below a horse. Stampin’ Up! came out with these new framelits that are just beautiful. So appropriately named don’t you think? Take a look at this simple card I made for her. I did not want to send her a Christmas card since I was sure I would get to see her during the holiday. Check out the card I did for her.

I created everything about this card to match my friend. Her favorite colors and a bit of glimmer so she would know it was from me. I love the sentiments in this particular stamp set Beauty Abounds. We have sentiments like the one above and “A friend is someone who chooses you..”There are Butterflies and a flourish to round out the set.

To make this card you will need the following measurements:

Bermuda Bay Cardstock cut at 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 folded in half at 4 1/4
Highland Heather 5 1/4 x 4 ran through Lace Dynamic Embossing folder
Cut out of Butterfly Beauty one of each the top one will be in the Shaded Spruce Glimmer Payer from the Joyous Noel 6 x 6 paper (discontinued) and other in the Bermuda Bay.
Pieces of So Saffron cut from a Scalloped circle dies and Piece of Whisper White cut from a circle punched after stamping your sentiment.
The inside is a 5 1/4 x 4 in whisper white and has a flourish from the Beauty Abounds stamp set and a sentiment. I colored in the flourish with Stampin Write Markers Bermuda Bay, Daffpodil delight, and Shaded Spruce.
