Beauty abounds stamp set is wonderful on its own. There is no need to bring in the dies with this fabulous little card I made to say thank you. I used a little bit of #Simplestamping and added just a bit of wow. I find the art of a thank you note has been lost and I hope to bring it back. I do understand in today’s day and age people get too busy to stop and write one. I don’t know about you but I love getting something in the mail that is not junk or someone else who wants my money. So I aim to try to do just that.
I also did this card as a color challenge with Colour InkSpirsation Challenge on Facebook. The challenge was to use the following ink colors Melon Mambo, Coastal Cabana, Highland Heather, and Pineapple Punch. You are allowed to add neutrals and metallics to your card. I did a lot of trial and error before I came up with this card.
Check card below out. I was trying to use the Beauty Abounds as a background but could not come up with a way that I liked the sentiment. Of course, I put this one together and realized at the last minute that the card opened wrong. Grr back to the drawing board.
Then I practiced with the bubbles and flourish in the set. I was not so crazy about this either.
So next I decided to try water coloring with the chosen colors.
I liked this one a lot but it was just not what I was looking for. So I started a search of my Demonstrator page on Facebook for inspiration.
My card today it was inspired by two ladies on the Demonstrator page. Winy Ellard and her use of the Stitched all Around framelits click here for her site and Mary Ann Kay Rossiter for her use of the bubbles in the Beauty Abounds stamp set. She did simple stamping and I fell in love. She has a website but I am unable to locate the picture that inspired me on her sites. If you are on the Demonstrator Page you can check her out there.
I did do one other that included the Coastal Cabana bubbles
I love this set. I love these colors too. Adding the Silver Trimmed cards to the mix was just a perfect solution.

I hope I inspired you to be creative today.
