I am working on my Altenew Challenge for level two. I have been trying hard to find a way to use this particular stamp Birch Forest that would make me happy. I have also been working on some techniques I want to use for that challenge. I came up with this card on pure accident. This card was not planned, and what a happy accident it was. I will give you more details about this particular method in the coming weeks.
First, here is the card using the Birch Forest stamp set from Altenew.
I love this technique, and I am sure you will see more of it in the future. I got my Metallic Watercolor pan set from Altenew to play around with it because, you know, why not? I have black watercolor paper as well. Some embossing and away I went. Making a mess!! Oh, what fun that was.
Look at the details in this. What a unique little card my accident turned into. The Wicked sentiment is a retired die from Stampin’ Up! I am sure you could cut this out on your Cricut, Scan and Cut, or the Silhouette. Whichever machine you have. I covered the sentiment with versamark and clear embossing powder to give it that shine.
Enjoy, and keep your eye out for the final challenge post.
