So I am late… Ok really really late with posting my birthday cards, so here are they are. I believe my friends did a fantastic job. Hats of to my hubby as well. When he asked me what I wanted for my birthday I said a homemade cake and a handmade card. The day turned out to be perfect. I made tutu’s with my neighbor Brittney (www.thegingerlife.com) while basking in the sunshine.
After the Tutu making festivities were done my brother came over to see me and take me to Linner (lunch and Dinner) at a local restaurant. We played games for a bit while we waited for the chocolate flourless torte that my husband made for my birthday cake.
Now on to the handmade cards and my honey’s gift to me.
Lori was telling my husband she was going to out do him and put him to shame. Well, when it came to the card I think she did, but he won my heart with this.
This is one of my favorite verses from a poem he wrote during that very difficult time. I cried for twenty minutes, and every time I would try to say something, more tears would come. Everyone asked what it said and I could not read it to anyone. I just cried. Thank you Tim. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me besides Diana.
