I decided to finally take a break and get crafty. I still do not have my counter for my space to craft but I was able to cut out some of the flowers from the Bloom and Grow Bundle to create some fabulous cards. I have met some wonderful people here in Statesville and I can say I have almost gotten on a first name base with some of the folks at the Home Depot. I have met Kim and Sandy who are also Stampin’ Up! demonstrators. We decided to meet up and have lunch and get a bit crafty. Each of us had our own projects so we could work individually but still have the fun of getting to know each other. Here are the projects we were working on.
These cards used the following sets. Kim’s card used two different types of Designer series paper but I was not sure which ones.
The one I was working on is for some of my wonderful peeps who have been helping out with this move. I placed the horse in it because it would make my best friend smile. Oh, how I miss her. I must say she is the reason I picked up this set in the first place. Secondly, because I am now surrounded by horses here. Check out this beauty.
My flowers are colored with the Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers. I just love how they blend together to give the flowers that realistic look.
I am really in love with the way that these came out. I do think I will have to color the horses on the next one. I do hope this finds everyone happy healthy and safe from Hurricane/Tropical Storm Barry.
Here is a list of what I used for this project I did forget to include item #147274 Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Markers.
