I got this new background stamp because I thought it looked cool. I had no idea what to do with it. Did some perusing of Pintrest and saw a Masculine card by Sarah Flemming. I loved it and thought it would work well with the Color Inspiration Challange that was going on at the current time.
I do not really care for the Sahara Sand color with this particular pallet. It would be a great pallet for a beach scene. I again was trying to force myself out of my normal pattern. So what do I go to? Hearts!! Hahaha ya, I know not much different.
Taking the Rectangle framelits we have and making the “frame” and using the negative for the heart I pressed the ink pads of Blueberry Bushel and Mango Melody onto the glossy paper and then dropped Coastal Cabana and Bermuda Bay re-inkers into the paper. Then I spritzed the paper with water until everything melded together. I Dabbed off with a paper towel till I had it to the way I wanted it. I then let that dry while I stamped in Sahara sand the crackled paint stamp on Whisper White cardstock. I cut out my large heart in Coastal Cabana and the “you” in Mango Melody. I stamped the sentiment from the Well Said stamp set and punched it out with the classic label punch. I used pieces of the Delightfully detailed Laser paper and inked them with the Blueberry Bushel. After my marbled glossy piece was dry I put everything together.
