Hello Crafters,
I am hoping you have had a wonderful Christmas and New Year so far. I took a bit of a hiatus to have family time and do all the wonderful things that grandparents like to do with their grandkids.
We got to go see Christmas lights and ride a horse-drawn carriage which my granddaughter begged me to do this year. I baked cookies, and crochet a scarf for one of my grandsons. I even got to spend extra time with them while they were off of school just hanging out. A much-needed distraction.
Now I am back at the crafty life so to speak. My first post this year is a beautiful card inspired by Erum from her class called Creative Coloring with Erum. I am super surprised with how it came out. Erum does say in the video that sometimes during the process your card will look like a hot mess. Yes, it does! I was not sure it was going to come out very well. I am happy to say that I would defiantly be happy to send this one to someone in need of a hug. Creative coloring, what a way to put a smile on your face.
This color combination looks really good together with a background for winter. It gives a really chilly feel when you combine it with some glitter cardstock and snowflakes. I found it worked really well for the flowers here as well.
Happy Creating,
Amy
