The creative watercolor media class is a great refresher course for me. I know most of the ideas presented here. It was entertaining to go and play with them again and make a grand old mess. I went to dinner the other night with blue fingers!! Love it! Getting inky is the best.
I tried several different ways using watercolors and reinkers.
The first one I did was with my watercolor pan from Altenew. I loved Love Love how this one came out until I decided to add glimmer mist spray to it. I took my glimmer mist, sprayed it on the mat, and used my paintbrush to flick it onto the card. I thought I ruined it by putting that on my flowers. But, my friend Kim another crafter said she loved it and gave it more interest, so I decided to post it for you all to be the judge. However, I will do the flicking of anything next time before I place my flowers. Just staying.
I was a bit more smitten on the second card with the final result.
How can you not be smitten with all of those colors? This happens to be a favorite technique for me. I LOVE the result. This is the first time I have used this stamp set, and I have been happy with how it came out. However, I can not get the hang of positioning the stamp. So much so that I have considered selling the stamp set altogether.

Your cards look beautiful! I believe the first card would have looked good with or without splatter 🙂
