I used two different Dandelion Wishes styles that I saw on Pintrest for my card today. I used parts of Meg’s card and Lyssa’s card to come up with my card. I love Dandelion’s they bring me back to my childhood in Ohio growing up with a big backyard and a field behind us. That is why I picked out the sentiment from the Part of My Story “Let’s get together and Giggle” I just love that. I can see a younger me and the little girl across the street sitting around picking Dandelions giggling unmercifully. Sometimes I miss those days. Especially when I do not want to “adult”. That is where my stamping comes in. It gets me away from the adulting and allows my creativity and that little girl comes out play. I hope your crafting is a release for you as well.
My card today is made with one of my favorite colors from the Stampin’ Up! family of colors Calypso Coral. It is no surprise I like this color once I found out about my donor and her favorite color. I had texted her mom and asked her mother what was Diana’s favorite flower and she replied a peach rose. I was awestruck to hear this. I never knew that. The amazing part was when I left from meeting my donor’s family my friend and I stopped on the side of the road in Texas and purchased rose bushes. I purchased a peach rose. They say a donated organ has cellular memory… hmm I do think I believe there is some validity to that.
So check out my card for this project below.
