The Delicate Lace Edgelits are absolutely wonderful. I am so happy I purchased them. I have used them several times and fall more in love with them every time I use them. This time is no exception. I combined it with some designer series paper called Share What you Love. This is wonderful paper as it has a pearly sheen to most of the pages. I am in love with the paper that has flowers on it and the colors of the paper are Mint Macaroon, Old Olive, and Tranquil Tide. It makes me extremely happy. With this said I purchase an extra pack of it. I hated to cut it up. I happened to stumble onto Kylie Bertucci’s site. (she is an Australian Demonstrator) She talks about cutting up that DSP and using it. So I did as she says #loveitchopit. Cutting up the paper in 5 1/4 x 4 should give you 6 pieces for every 12×12 sheet along with a little bit extra for inside the cards. She inspired me so I loved it and chopped it. It was thrilling and scary. I have another whole pack of the stuff and unfortunately, it will be retiring at the end of the catalog at the end of May. Check out her video about #loveitchopit here.
There is always one piece of designer series paper that I am not always happy within a set. For this set, it was the piece with the flowers in Grapefruit Grove they look similar to hydrangeas. I meant it was pretty with the pearl shimmer and I love the color but something about it did not sit well with me. So I decided this would be the very first one I made. It was perfect to make some pretty lace to go on top of the DSP. Cover it but leave the gorgeous color shining through.
Check them out.
After I created these I could not stop there. I then used my favorite paper and created these.
Here are some close-ups of the cards
I must say I like the first set better even though I love the paper more in the second set of cards. I am so thrilled with this set I am offering it as a card kit. There will be three options to purchase this Kit with Heart.

I was completely inspired by Gail to create these cards. She is right the Delicate Lace dies are the best thing to jazz up your cards and pages. Check out Gail’s page on how she did her’s here.
I hope I have inspired you to Love it and Chop it. I have never really used my DSP in such a way since I love to create my own paper patterns. Thanks for the inspiration Kylie and Gail.
