Dragonfly Dreams are so versatile.
Today I will show you how to create two different cards with Dragonfly Dreams bundle. It turns out to be so easy and you get spectacular results with a few twists of the Big Shot and a bit of color and POW look out. We made these at the Catalog launch parties that I have done for my customers and Lori’s Customers. I do believe it was a hit with most of the ladies.
I start with cardstock cut in the following dimensions
- Base Tempting Turquoise 6 1/4 x 5 1/2 scored at 2 inches folded You will also need a portion of this cardstock to cut the flowers out of the So in Love framelits. Should be about 5 1/2 x 3
- Soft Sky cardstock to cut out the Dragonflies (I cut two sets)
- Very Vanilla Cardstock 1 3/4 x 5 x 1/4 and 4 x 5 1/4
Get your Big Shot out so you can cut out the Dragonflies and the flowers.
- Using the Soft Sky Cardstock cut out your Dragonflies again I cut out two and will have a few to spare.
- Using the Tempting Turquoise cardstock cut out the roses with the So in Love framelits. (these are the larges of the framelits in this set)
Once you get your cardstock together you will need to get some ink together to make your dragonflies pop.
- Use Rich Razzleberry to sponge daub the centers of the dragonfly body on all of them.
- Then use Pacific Point to sponge daub on the center part of the wings. Make sure you leave a bit of the Soft Sky showing through at the tips of the wings. If you don’t that is ok.
- I then colored all of the dragonflies with Clear Wink of Stella. Set them aside to dry.
Once you have your dragonflies completed you can stamp your small Very Vanilla cardstock with Tempting Turquoise ink and the dots stamp from the Dragonfly Dreams set. I did stamp off by stamping on a scrap piece of paper so the ink was a bit softer here.
Now that you have that done you can adhere the flower cut out to the cardstock. You can do this one of two ways. You can adhere this on top or on the back it is up to you.
Once that is complete you can adhere that to the small side of the Tempting Turquoise cardstock. Covering up the seam if you choose to put your flower cut out on top.
I stamped a few flowers from the So in Love stamp set on the inside of the card just along the left side so that the 2 inch solid piece covers it on top. You could even make this a Landscape card putting your sentiment on then inside flap.

Once you get your cardstock together you will need to get some ink together to make your dragonflies pop.
- Use Rich Razzleberry to sponge daub the centers of the dragonfly body.
- Then use Pacific Point to sponge daub on the center part of the wings.
- I used Tempting Turquoise after the Pacific Point on the wings . Make sure you leave a bit of the Soft Sky showing through at the tips of the wings. If you don’t that is ok.

Take your large whisper white cardstock and stamp your lace trim with every stamp in the Delicate Lace set. Use a different color for each. Repeating the pattern all the way down the paper. I went in this order
- Rich Razzleberry
- Pacific Point
- Wisteria Wonder
- Tempting Turquoise
- Soft Sky
Stamp your sentiment onto the white cardstock. Place it atop the Pacific Point Piece with Dimensionals.
On your second piece of Whisper White I put that one inside with two of my favorite lace stamps at the top and the bottom. Adhere this inside of the card.
Place your dragonfly on top of the Lace and place on your Pacific Point Base.
