Altenew’s class, Easy Ink Blending Techniques, is an excellent reminder of all those techniques that you love to do and some you did not even think about. I loved the Boekah that they did and wanted to recreate another version of it, but I broke my wrist on Easter Sunday, which makes what I can do a bit more challenging. Luckily I had the flowers I used in these cards painted while practicing the techniques in the class before I broke it. It took me a week to recover enough to finish the cards and type up this post for you.
I created these two cards with these beautiful flowers from the Beautiful Day bundle.
Beautiful Day detailed flower heat embossed with white embossing powder.
I added simple lines to bring interest to the background for my first card.
I got a little fancier with the flowers for my second card by using some vellum.
If you have not checked out any of the classes from Altenew, I suggest that you check into them. Easy Ink Blending Techniques has been my favorite so far. You do not have to be in the program to take them.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope to be back soon to videos but that all depends on the wrist.

All those colors give such different looks, don’t they?! Still stunning though!
