Hey crafters, today I am behind the 8 ball so to speak. I created this card to do a blog hop with the NC demos but I did not finish the blog in time. I thought Sunday was Saturday and I could still turn it in. Oh well. I still wanted to share it with you, my followers.
Today’s cards are making a Christmas Stamp set to become something for spring. The NC Blog hop was to use a bundle with a punch. I honestly do not have too many from Stampin’ Up! that is current at this point I don’t see the need to but more of the things I am not too happy with. I do however absolutely love this punch. I have been trying to find ways to add this to other cards. I may just do that soon while I am taking some watercolor classes. These trees are perfect for watercolor.
As you can see in the picture the tall trees are stamped on watercolor paper after spritzing the stamp while it was full of ink. I used two shades of ink on each tall tree. For the border punch, I used one of the stamps to create the color. I used three different shades of green here.
Adding a touch of gold with the Expressions in Ink DSP behind my main panel creates a little extra bling.
I love this leftover DSP from the 2021 Holiday catalog. The colors are perfect for spring.

I hope you enjoy it and the extra post. Have a lovely day.
Happy Crafting,
Amy
