I love the Fancy Phrases flower. It reminds me of a few of the flowers that I had from Stampin’ Up! that had retired and I ultimately sold for your move to NC. I purchase and have finally had a chance to create with it. I find that sometimes I just have to force myself to stop playing with the things that are really popular just to clear my mind. This set was just the trick. Take a look at the stamp below. It does come as a bundle that includes a FANCY TAG TOPPER PUNCH. I have one already and did not purchase the punch, but the stamp set Oh My!
Check out the two that I created with this set for you today.
For my first card, I used a bleaching technique that I have done before you can check it out here for the tutorial. The video is here. My Sentiment is punched out from the Story Lable Punch and heat embossed. I also used my Stampin’ Write Markers to color the smaller of the floral images and stamp around the edges for some texture. I then used the Layering Ovals to cut out a piece of basic black cardstock. Check it out below.
I love this card. I used some retired ribbon on this one. The Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon was colored with the Purple Posy Stampin Blends (both light and dark) and the Very Vanilla Tulle was placed over it. I double the tulle to make it look thicker. I think this one could easily be recreated as a wedding card.
I used simple techniques with the Layering Square dies for the second one. I colored the main flower image with Crushed Curry and Poppy Parade and my water painters. I did this very lightly since I was using regular whisper white cardstock. I did not want a lot of water but wanted the same effect. I could have done this with Stampin Blends as well but we do not carry Crushed Curry in the blends. I really wanted that look. The color combination was inspired by our June Paper Pumpkin.
Here is the card I designed with this in mind.
Below is the supply list for you for both cards. I hope this inspires you to create something beautiful today.
