The Fine Art Gallery is the perfect paper for so many types of cards, scrap pages, decor, or any other thing you can think of. It also works for a sympathy card. No one ever really likes to need a sympathy card, but here we are.
My niece-in-law’s father passed away at the end of March. Such heartfelt sympathies go out to her, my nephew, and the great-nephews. She was very close to her dad. He was a very happy person and loved his grandsons to the moon and back. He will be sorely missed.
Once I learned of his passing I decided I needed to send her a card to lift her spirits. I hope this will do the trick. It is kinda sad that when these things happen I can not be there anymore at the drop of a hat to be there to support my family in Louisiana.
The Card
This one is rather simple. I cut a piece of this fabulous DSP 5 1/4 x 4 and trimmed a piece of Vellum to give me an inch on all 4 sides of the vellum showing that beautiful paper. Using some scraps I cut the largest stitched shapes circle die.
Stamped in Night of Navy after rubbing my light balmy blue Stampin’ Blends pen to create a washed background.
I adhered all of these together using some dimensional behind the circle. This allowed me to slide my Mossy Meadow braided trim around the card. I then placed it on the Balmy Blue cardstock.
Simple, stunning, and a perfect sentiment from the retired Heal your Heart Salebration stamps of 2021.
