This Floral Essence card was inspired by another demonstrator here in NOLA, her name is Susan. I am sure some of you follow her she does some FB lives and does a great job. Check out my inspiration from her here. I absolutely loved the card. I almost tried to do it exactly the same except I did not have some of the same dies at the TIny house, they were in storage. So I worked with what I had, and I love the way it turned out. I was missing clear embossing powder, ya I know, not something one usually runs out of. Using the iridescent ice that Stampin’ Up! retired a few years ago instead of clear embossing powder, love the stuff. It added sparkle to an already stunning card. Instead of Using the Leaf Punch that Susan used, I used the Sprig punch instead.
I love the way it came out, check it out for yourself.
When taking my pictures, I use the stairs in the Tiny house since my dogs ate my board. So now the cats seem to think it is fine to help mom out when she is doing photography. Check out my assistant below. Oliver must be anywhere I am.
The paper for this card is stunning. I am in love with it. Check out the video below for the other absolutely gorgeous paper choices in the pack. If you are reading this on an email click here.
Let’s not forget the inside
Usually, the inside is left blank until the owner is determined and for what occasion. Today that was changed, working on completing the insides is one of my goals. Flowers are stamped with Blackberry Bliss (147092), the center is Cajun Craze (147085), and the leaves are stamped in Mossy Meadow (147111) and colored in with the Mossy Meadow light blends (148545). I did not add these to the supply list since the inside was an afterthought.
Below is the Supply list I used for this card.
I hope you enjoyed today’s card. Don’t forget to use your coupons for this month before they expire.
