I have not had a chance to really play with Flourish Thinlits, an oldie but goodie that has been carried over to the new annual catalog. One of my dearest and closest friends from Jr High School brother got married just recently so I made this stunning card for them. It is really very simple once you have the right tools. The only retired item I used here is the Softly falling petals from last years Occasions Catalog that retired this past May.

I simply cut everything out in Whisper White cardstock and embossed all the text in silver embossing powder. As you will see in the bottom image I used just a bit of shimmery gray that I got from a hobby store just to add something to the inside.

On my list, I am including the Softly Falling textured embossing folder. I feel this will work just as beautifully as the Softly falling petals folder worked here. I also added some retired pearls.

I think this card would be perfect with just about any color you choose for any occasion.
