After Salebration we get perks for the number of sales and recruits. I could not wait to get the Flowing Flower stamp set with my bonus. It did not disappoint with the ease of making a quick card.
I did a little masking using the Inkadinkado Stamping Mask paper on this card, and it was so easy to do. I also added some extra color with a sponge dauber in the center of the flower. For the leaves, I colored them with my Stampin’ Write Markers.
On my next cards, I did two at one time. I did this by stamping in the middle of a 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 piece of Neenah Cardstock. Once I was done stamping my flower, I cut it in two at the 4 1/4 mark on the long side.
I trimmed the two halves to 3 3/4 x 5 1/4 for my actual cards. I used a piece of Calypso Coral cardstock from Stampin’ Up! that had been embossed with the Ornate floral 3d embossing folder.
I used two different ribbons from Stampin’ Up! one is a white crinkled ribbon which I colored with Stampin’ Blends to match my project. The other was White Organdy Ribbon which I also colored with Stampin’ Blends. That is one thing I love about alcohol markers and white ribbon. You can change it to suit your needs no matter what brand you have.
I am pleasantly surprised with the Flowing Flowers stamp set from Stampin’ Up! It has been a joy to work with. Very simple when you need a quick card. This stamp set does not appear in the new annual catalog launching in May 2022. So if you want to get your hands on it, you had better order it before the end of the mini Jan to Jun 2022 catalog, which ends June 30th, 2022.
