Dandelion Wishes who doesn’t love them? There is something about the spark of hope that a simple little dandelion wish can bring to you. I remember as a little girl I would wish for material things… sometimes those came true and sometimes not. As I got older I tend to just wish the doctor’s appointments went well or that the pending procedure I had to have done would not be as painful as I feared it would be. Anyway the morning we left the Tiny house we went to tell the grandkids goodbye before they got on the bus at O Dark Thirty. It snowed the day before so it was quite chilly that morning walking over to the big house. While walking over I spotted a couple of Dandelions poking up frosted over with snow and the breath of Old Man Winter hanging on the tips of its seeds. It was stunning and beautiful. Brought back some of my fondest memories as it sparked in the morning sunrise. I took pictures of course and that image and these pictures inspired this card and post.
Here is the picture of the actual project.
Here is a closer view
This project I put iridescent ice (discontinued from Stampin’ Up! a few years ago) in my white embossing powder. You can achieve this look by adding a little bit of glitter to your embossing powder to give it the extra shimmer. I am not even sure you can see it here on my card. It is there and it is fabulous.
