I made this one on the fly because of a card I saw where the glossy white paper is used with Frost White Shimmer paint as a resist technique. I love it. I would have liked it to be darker in color than it turned out. I think it is still pretty.
This technique starts with a piece of glossy white paper. (Stampin’ Up! retired theirs) I then stamped the snowflakes from the Frosted Foliage set with the Frost White Shimmer paint. I used a sponge to dab it onto the stamp itself. Then after stamping around on the glossy white paper, let it dry completely. Then using a sponge or a brayer rub your ink color all over the glossy paper. I used a sponge trying to get as much as you want on the glossy paper. When you have your color on, then take a paper towel or clean sponge and rub over the stamped images to remove the excess ink. What you have is the light blue piece of paper you see on my card. I did use Night of nay ink, but it sort of looks like a cross between Balmy blue and a soft night of navy.
I added a piece of Sparkle Glimmer paper that I cut out with the frosted foliage dies. I also cut a few extra snowflakes to add. I added basic black cardstock embossed with a softly falling embossing folder (also retired) and a real red piece of cardstock embossed with the Swirls and Curls embossing folder.
My Beautiful You set was used for the lovely lady in red. She was fussy cut out of whisper white cardstock and colored with the Blends Markers Real Red for the dress, blushing bride and basic black Stampin’ write markers for her body and boots.
This one was so unique to do but, I am not sure I like it all that much. I hope you have enjoyed today’s post.

I did a card with God’s Peace. The card with Beautiful you is very pretty but seems very involved. Time has just flown by this year. I did not make many to send out. Have a great Christmas with your daughter and family.
