Frosted Foliage is simply a versatile set that can be used with anything including the Over the Moon cows. In the first picture, I used the retired Spirited Snowman because I mean why not, they are just absolutely adorable. Well that and, I did not get enough of them last Christmas.
I used some glimmer paper to make the Designer series paper feel even more frosty than it already did. The DSP that I used is Feels Like Frost. There are plenty of possibilities with this paper.
The Cards
I used the Stampin’ Blends markers to color my images before placing them on the cards. My hubby said that the Cow from Over the Moon had to have antlers. He would really like me to find a way to “tie” them onto the cow so that they will look like Max from “The Grinch.” I am really thinking about doing a bunch of farm animals since we have moved to farm country. Anyway, the antlers are cut from on of the Detailed Deer dies and glued atop of the cow’s hair.
We actually got to see the Combine come down through the field bailing cotton for the first time. Check it out.
Back to the wonderful cards.
I used Highland Heather cardstock with the Feels like frost DSP and a bit of Purple Posey now that it is in stock. With the Purple Posey piece that is cut out of the Frosted Foilage largest die, I sponged a bit of Highland Heather to give it more of pop against the paper. The way the snowman is colored it gives the glimmer paper a pink hue. I also put the wink of Stella all over my Snowmen.
