The Golden Garden Acetate will be retiring at the end of May. I love this stuff and had some extra from a class. I decided to see what else I could do except match it with the most beautiful stunning designer series paper. So I created this.
Using the acetate and my Stampin’ Write Markers, I colored on the backside of the acetate. I am sure you can use the blends for this as well. I wanted a watercolored look, so I used the markers. I then “huffed” on the acetate to give it a damp image and placed it atop basic cardstock. This gives it a watercolored look behind the acetate in the flowers themselves. I love the way it came out. I may have to play with this a bit more to see what other ways it will work.
The Card
I have used the soon-to-be-retired Purple Posy cardstock here, I am sad about it, but I can tell you that the new colors coming will be worth it. I am in love with them.
The New Annual catalog will be mailed out to you n the middle of April. I have already set up for those that asked for a catalog. Don’t worry if you not in that group. Just let me know that you need one. I will get it to you as soon as I get ahold of some more.
