Happy Birthday to you meets Ornate Layers dies, and I told you I could not put these down. I tried today to use up something retired after going through all the catalogs and checking things off. Well, guess what showed back up on my desk? That’s right, only my new favorite die set. I was trying to make something new with one of the old ones. I did, though. I used the Breathtaking Bouquet background stamp even though you do not see much of it. I also used the Stitched Labels dies, which are retiring as well. I am genuinely broken-hearted over those dies. They are some of my favorites. I would just spend time cutting them out in whisper white and color them and have bunches in a box for me top use when needed. Such a wonderful feeling to have it ready to go when needed. I did learn to do this; it was better to just cut them out in whisper white with no color. I could sponge or brayer it any color I wanted.
The Happy Birthday to you set and the matching dies are no longer available. Unfortunately, you can not even still get them. I did this one for a person who’s favorite color is blue. I saw a post by Patty Bennet and fell in love with hers. I altered mine a bit and came up with this one. It is the blues that Patty used on her flowers that I fell in love with.
