
Don’t you just love the old weathered signs made out of wood? This old looking Hardwood Beach sign was created with just inks, stamps, embossing powder and paper. I loved the look. I can not wait to try it with some other sentiments. I saw this creation by Michelle Zindorf from Splitcoast Stampers. I just had to do one myself. So Kim and I set out to recreate the card. It came out awesome. Thank you, Michelle, for the idea. Here is my first go round with the idea.

I completed my first one and I could not stop there. So I decided to create one with some more beachy colors in green.

This one gives you the idea of what happens when you do not use the embossing buddy before stamping. I got a real hazy look. I still think it looks good since I want it to be antiqued and weathered looking. Here is the one Kim did using the High Tide set.
