Christmas in July week 5, the final week… Sneak Peek ahead!

Today is all about a sneak peek of the upcoming Mini catalog, which launches on August 3, 2021. As I promised, I would have something created for you. Unfortunately, I only purchased a few items, which if you follow my FB page, I did an unboxing video; you can catch it here if you would like to see what I got.

Today’s card uses Holly Jolly Wishes in the new catalog. I also did a bit of Deco foil on this card. I took a class on how to do this without a machine. After that, I will start trying to use a laminator that my daughter has to see if it is something I want to really get into.

Today is all about Christmas instead of a fall card. I choose to incorporate some of the new DSP you can get in the fall SaleBration catalog called Peaceful Prints DSP. On top of that, I put the deco foil using the Adorning Decorative mask of snowflakes. You can find the masks on page 9 of your new mini catalog. They only cost 8 dollars for 4. There are snowflakes, a candy cane stripe, a lattice of some sort, and clusters of 4 diamond shapes. I used Deco foil transfer DUO, which is used two ways, heat or no heat for transfer. I choose the no heat transfer method here.

Just rub or use a paste knife and cover, pull off your mask and let dry till clear. Once this is done, place your foil over it and run through your Stampin’ Cut and Emboss machine. I like to use clear plates here; it gives you a clear smooth finish on your foil.

I made two different patterns from the paper pack that I choose. A garden green colored one had a snowflake pattern already on it, and the other one was cherry cobbler plaid.

My sentiments were placed on a Basic white cut from the Scalloped Contour Dies and stamped with Holly Jolly Wishes sentiments.

My love of ribbons comes to play here as well. I added some of my favorite Old Olive pretty peacock ribbon and the new Cherry Cobbler and gold ribbon in the new catalog. The simple snowflake was stamped from the Snowflake Wishes stamp set.
