I had no idea what to do with the Home to Roost Saleabration stamp set. So I watched Pintrest like a hawk. I love what people have done with this set. It inspired me to go ahead and get it as one of my free products when you spend over $50 dollars before tax and shipping. Of course that is not the only item I put into my card that was a Saleabration item. I finally got to use the Grapefruit Grove foil paper that is also on the Saleabration list.
- I took a piece of shimmer paper and stamped the Rooster on it and used the watercolor pencils to color him in then using the aqua painter I went over the
rooster to make him look fabulous. Then once he was dry I fussy cut him out. - I diecut out a piece of whisper white cardstock with the Stitched Framlits and stamped the grass on it with Crumb Cake. I placed my Rooster on top with some dimentionals
- I then took the large doily from the Build a Doily
framelit set and cut it out of Grapefruit Grove foil. I cut this in half and placed it behind the Oval diecut piece. - I took a piece of Tranquil Tide cut 5 1/2 x 4 in and ran through the Tin Tile embossing folder. Then I ran a bit of whisper white craft ink across it.
- I placed my Rooster with the Doily and the Oval atop of this.
- I placed all of this on top
of of a piece of Crushed Curry measuring 51/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4then folded. - I took a scrap of whisper white and
stamed thesentiemnet on cherry cobbler ink. I backed this with a scrap of crushed curry cardstock
