I am in love with the Honey Bee Bundle. It goes perfectly with the Honey Bee DSP that is free with a $50 dollar purchase. You can check out the paper on another post I did here.
I have seen several different cards that got me to thinking about how to merge this particular set with the Dandelion Wishes set. I do not know who did them but I did a different perspective on them both. I sent this one to my #cardsforlittleheartscarddrive as well since it was heart-themed.
I had not planned on using the Mango Melody color in this one but accidentally put my sponge in the ink before I rubbed around the Honeycomb. I am happy that it looks awesome with it. At least I think so. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder though right?
The Card
I used a sponge method with the ink on the edges with the honeycomb cut out and the two ink colors. I also used the technique on the sentiment. It was cut out with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies (smaller one) I then cut the top and bottom so that it was straight across.
The Dandelion was stamped in Black and I used leftover pieces of the Lovely Lipstick die-cut pieces from Stitched Be Mine to put on my Dandelion petals in the wind.
My Honey Bee’s were cut out from the Salebation Golden Honey DSP using the dies in the Honey Bee Bundle. I then added a bit of black to their bodies using the Stampin write marker.
