Welcome to the NC Demons Blog hop for June. I do hope you follow along from Laurie Meier. We have some fantastic creators here. The NC Demos did a Stamp Along Friday, June 26th, on our Demo’s FB Page. It was beautiful to see all the talent that lives near me. It is just sad that I can not spend time with them in person right now.
Now on to my project for today. The Jar of Flowers bundle is the first one in a long time that stumped me. I just drew a blank as to what to do with it. I guess I should have gone back to my catalog casing to get the juices flowing. I instead turned to our Artisan Designer team. One of the ladies inspired me using these beautiful flower stamps without coloring them in. I loved this idea, and this makes the card have interest without lots of work.
I was able to use my scan and cut to cut these beauties out. I stamped them in multiple colors and used my Brother Scan and Cut to cut them out. So easy to do, right, this gave me an entire page of pretty flowers to play with. I love this machine, and I am glad that I was able to purchase it. I even sold my Cricut Maker. (gasp)
The cards today are simple, and I even have a video for you to check out how to do them. I did kind of mess up on the Just Jade card, and it was interesting to go back and watch how I corrected it. I still think the card is not so great, but it works.
I created several different ones that you can see below. All of my cards from today’s post will be going to local nursing homes for the patients. I am up to about 150. I just want to put a smile on their faces. To me, it is so sad that they get no visitors. I know most people are video chatting with loved ones. Unfortunately, most of the folks in there may not know how to do that or understand it. So to me, this is the next best thing.
Take a closer look at the ones I have for you in the video.

I love all the versions of your cards, and it’s great just doing them in one color! I especially love that they are going to nursing home residents. I know they are so appreciative.

I love that you’re giving these cards to a nursing home. I often think of those folks, too, who don’t have any family left and no visitors. You have a big heart. Love the designs and to see the cards made without having to color them. They turned out so pretty! I don’t think there is a thing wrong with your Jade card 🙂
Amy Austin-Kinler says
Thank you Ariel. I plan on getting them out this week.
