The Let it Shine class from Altenew is a super fun class that shows you again that less is MORE. I loved the different ideas to use techniques you already know and love.
I created the main card front using some Pacific point and rubbed the metallic paint over top of it with a sponge. I love how it softened the color to make it look like the sky with puffy clouds—such little effort for such a big bang. Very much so, like the slight use of glitter paper here. I used some Sky Blue glitter paper I had lying around to cut out my sentiment and a small strip for the side of the card. I also used lots of dimension on this card. I have foam sheets behind my card front and bits of foam adhesive behind the vellum the sentiment is on and again on the flowers themselves.
Lastly, I had to add another bit of interest by adding my opal rounds. I love these little guys, almost like tiny drops of water floating around in the morning dew.
A different view where you can see all of those beautiful layers. Notice my leaves, they are in the background, and I only glued the ends down that went under the sentiment so that the tips could curl up and greet you.
I hope you can try the Let it Shine classes Altenew is offering. It taught me how to combine what I already know and love without being super overstated.
