Lots of heart has been the perfect bundle for me this year. It coordinates so well with some of the other heart bundles that I have such as the Be Mine bundle that is on the annual catalog. Today I decided to pair it with the True Love DSP. I saw on another blog where the colors used to color the beautiful flowers was the Stampin’ Blends Cherry Cobbler, Rococo Rose, and Flirty Flamingo (light) I WAS IN LOVE! This combination is just simply stunning to me. I am a true lover of pink and red. Absolutely my favorite colors on the planet. They can bring the beginning of the sunrise and the end of a perfect day. That moment between light and dark that I just am totally enamored by. I hope you enjoy this card as much as I enjoyed making it.
The Card
I am sure you wondering why I used the Painted Poppies stamp set. Well, you see that pretty background? I used the watercolor stamp to color the flowers to create this background. I used stamped off Rococo Rose all around the whisper white base. I then used full strength for the splatter looking stamp. This is how I created such a lovely watercolored look without getting all that fancy. It does defiantly add something to this card without going overboard.
I have to admit the flower though is my favorite part. I love these flowers and if you did not get the DSP that I cut them from you can get the stamp set that has them in it it is called Forever and Always. You would stamp these in Stazon or Momento black in and then use the blends I listed above or in the product list to create them. Of course, I would love to see what you create even if they are not pinks and reds.
