Lovely as a Tree and a dryer sheet

First I want to wish my followers a very Merry Christmas tomorrow! May you have peace and joy today and always.

This is my main Christmas Christmas card this year. I recently got the Lovely as a Tree stamp set and fell completely head over heals in love. Yes I know I have said that about my Work of Art Stamp set as well, but hey why can I not love more than one? I can not say that just one idea on Pintrest gave me my idea, but several. After searching I came up with this design. I am a pink/red girl and I wanted to be different than the traditional “color” of Christmas. If you follow my blog you will also know that I just love snowflakes and snowmen. So this card is me perfectly. That is the great thing about making your own cards with your own designs. Your not stuck to what ever template they have and the colors that they choose. It is all what you want. Lovely as a Tree and a dryer sheet what a combination. To get this wonderful frosted look I used a dryer sheet. I also added dazzeling diamnonds to the sheet after adhered to add the sparkle that is hard to see the full effect here. To do this follow these steps:

1. stamp your cardstock with images
2. Use a Glue Stick and cover the entire piece that is to be covered with dryer sheet.
3. lay dryer sheet over the cardstock making sure to leave a bit to fold over
4. adhere dryer sheet on back
5. add your dazzling diamonds making sure you rub them into the dryer sheet
6. turn over and flick off the loose dazzling diamonds set aside to dry.

• Pink Pirouette Cardstock (sizes 5 1/2 x 4 1/4, 3 1/2 x 2 1/2)
• Whisper White Cardstock (sizes 5 1/4 x 4, 3 1/4 x 2 1/4)
• Pink Pirouette Classic Stampin’ Ink Pad
• Sahara Sand Classic Stampin’ Ink Pad
• Soft Suede Classic Stampin’ Ink Pad

• Cooper wall tape (none SU)
• Small Heart Punch
• Small Star Punch

• Glue Stick

• Snail adhesive
