Mountain Air is a new stamp set with Stampin’ Up!. I decided to purchase it since I was now in the foothills of North Carolina. This one is perfect for making those picture-perfect Mountain scenes. It is really hard to go wrong with the stamps and the dies to cut everything out for you.
The Indecisions
This particular card I wanted to incorporate the Meercats from The gang’s all Meer stamp set that you get free with a $50 dollar purchase in the SALEBRATION catalog. Well, Meerkats are from Africa so they are generally found in the sand. So I wanted to portray that thought. I am not sure that I got a very good impression of this with this one.
The masking did not go as well as I had hoped either. Making me have to color in some spots with the Stampin’ Write Markers. This did not work out very well. I made several different ways before I came up with the card you see below. I can still see ways to improve. Isn’t that the way it always is when you do anything. We are our own worse critics. Hahaha
