The new catalog will be live in August. That is only a few weeks away!! Oh MY! Where did all the time go? I decided that maybe I needed to show you a few things in the catalog. Today I will show you the new Evergreen 3D Embossing folder. Man is it 3D. The depth that they have given these trees is stunning. My heart just loves the mountains. I always have. I never ever thought I would get to live so close to them with my health the way it is. High altitudes used to bother me so much. When going to the Olympic Mountains in Washington I could not do Hurricane Ridge for very long. The view was one of the most memorable ones of my life. I thank my sweet Mother-in-law for that. Now I go hiking in the foothills and do some hiking in the Pisgah National Forest to see the waterfalls.
The card I made for you today is a tribute to that. My donor, Diana loved being in the woods and on rocky terrain. I once went to a park before I knew who she was and fell in love having the most wonderful peaceful moment I had ever experienced. Turns out that is where she and her brother used to go to talk and ride bikes. It is amazing what the heart remembers.
Here is the Card I created.
The details that they managed to get with the Evergreen 3D embossing folder is stunning. I really feel like I am looking deep into the forest of evergreen trees. The moment I saw this folder I saw it with these mountains. It took me several different times playing with it to get the look that I wanted. See the close up of the details below.
Here is another on that I did with just sponging the background before I embossed it, After embossing I added more color with sponges again.
This was my Facebook live on Thursday. If you missed it you can catch it here. If you watch the FB Live version keep watching the audio does come on after about 1:30 minutes. I made a blond move and did not have audio on yet. Sorry about that. I have corrected it when I loaded it you YouTube. I also used the video as one for our NC Demos group.
