I am so sorry that I have not been posting as usual. It seems that my daughter has decided to get married. She and her fiance have been engaged for a while now and circumstances came up that made this the perfect time for them to finally get married. So the wedding planning began. I have finally completed my to do list and have a moment to post to you some of the wonderful things I have done for the wedding with the help of some wonderful friends.
First she went dress shopping in North Carolina, while I went flower shopping here in Louisiana. Thank goodness for today’s technology, which made shopping without each other a little easier. Although I can not tell you how many times I killed my phone with all the pictures and text back and forth. I must give kudos to the messenger app, this app allowed us to snap pics and include her mom and friends all over the US in on chat conversation. I am sure there are others but this is the one we used and it was seamless. At least for me it was.
Thanks go out to Dixie for helping me with the flowers. I could not have done it with you!! I think they came out perfectly.
I did a banner that I found a picture of in the Current Catalog from Stampin’ Up! on pg 30 next to Everything Eleanor.
I changed it up a bit by using old encyclopidieas for the banner pieces around the circle that was punched out and stamped with Everything Eleanor stamps. I also used the Simply Create Banner Kit from Stampin’ Up! that had chalkboard on the other side of it so we can write their names on it.
So I again apologize as to why I have not written. I have been a little preoccupied by the sudden change of events. I hope to get a few written tonight for you to enjoy while we are spending time with the bride and groom.
I am doing another blog candy for the 3rd quarter of the year. For every comment you leave on the blog post you will be entered into the drawing. Last winner was Marilyn, I sure do hope she loves what she got. I sent her a retired stamp set from Salebration and a small CTMH stamp set. Every Blog candy will be different but I promise you it will be worth it. Should you need something to complete a project please feel free to click the button below to shop. Don’t forget the weekly deals they change every Tuesday so check them out. I do know that they have the framelits with the garden spikes this time.
