New Pansy Patch from Stampin’ Up!

The last of my sneak peeks for the annual catalog will be with the Pansy Patch Suite.

This suite comes with the Pansy Patch stamp set; Pansy dies, Pansy Petals Designer series paper, and the Bumblebee trinkets. You can find this on page 28 of the Annual Catalog.

Pansy’s were the flower of choice by my husband for our wedding cake. We got married on April 1st, and they were everywhere. When I asked him what he wanted on the cake, he said fresh edible spring flowers. We got pansy’s, and there was not enough for the cake, so we added a few extra silk ones. When cutting the cake, my husband was not very happy he found the non-edible ones. LOL, We do have it on video, and it is one of my favorite moments as he looks at my mom who made the cake with this devilish look like, how could you do this??  Hahaha, it was priceless. I think she made sure he cut a piece that was not quite all spring flowers; she told me he would never know.

I would love to put a picture of my wedding cake up, but those are in storage in a box that I can not get to at this point.

Here are the cards individually for you.

This first one uses just the stamps to create the flowers, and then the die cuts to cut them out. I used some dimentionals to pop a few up on the paper. I have also used some basic rhinestones on this one.

 

My second card is using the dies to create the flower with leftover watercolor paper and regular paper. I used the Polished Pink on this to create the darker bits of the flowers.

 

I love how these came out. I am working on a few other things to go with them, but I will be out of town the week the catalog goes live. I am finally going to see my best friend and spend a bit of time with her.
