Ornate Layers, what else can I say? I have told you how much I love them. I just can not stop playing with them. I put them away and start another project and they just pop themselves back to my desk and Big Shot machine. It’s magic, right? LOL, I kid, but I really am not. I am in love with these. These layers are so fancy elegant and bring me back to being a little girl wanting lace on everything. With what is going on in the world I have enjoyed thinking back to the times of being a little girl with not much else to worry about but if I had lace on my jeans and underwear. Yes, you read that right, underwear. I was a special child, Haha. So this has become my grown-up obsession. I am ok with that.
I saw a card on one of the many Facebook groups that I belong to and someone had used this particular color combination. I was like that’s it. I also was trying to figure out how to use up my perennial essence paper that will retire at the end of the catalog (June 2020) This combination fits that bill too. So I went to make the card. With not having any idea how I actually wanted to do it I just started adding layers. It morphed into this two-card layer. A mini card atop a larger card. I love the way it came out. I am considering adding a buckle of sorts to it so that the mini card portion will stay closed.
The Card
This one opens up two ways. The top
