Ornate Garden suite is now available till May 31st. This is one set I do hope Stampin’ Up! carries onto the new catalog on a permanent basis. Only time will tell. I do hope everyone is staying well and staying indoors or at least social distancing. We have only been to the grocery pick up and hubby has gone into Walmart. We did make a trip last weekend to Home Depot before the Stay at home advisory hit NC. I did not go in, I went to the outside garden center only. Life sure has changed. We spent that weekend making the yard a bit cozier for us to hang out in.
On a good note, we will be closing on a 3-acre property next week via drive-by signing. This will be our recreation escape during this crazy time. 3 acres of woods and a creek. Plenty to clean up oh boy.
Now back to the Cards
I colored the Mango Melody card with Stampin’ Blends (I have all the colors listed below) These are much darker than the watercolors. Even though I used almost the same colors. We do not have as many colors with our Stampin’ Blends as we do with our watercolor options. Thus the difference. I still think it came out beautiful. Such a bright and happy color. I used the Stitched Nested Dies for the focal point of this card.

I colored the Highland Heather card with an aqua painter and Stampin’ Up! inks. Below is the video to watch how I did the coloring of this one. I used the Ornate Floral 3D embossing folder for the texture. This is so simple and spectacular. The sentiment is cut with a Stitched rectangle dies emboss with White embossing powder. Then I took my aqua painter and went over the wording for a bit of a watercolor effect. I cut the flowers out with the Stitched Nesting dies for a perfect focal point.
