A friend of mine has truly Pampered Pets. Unfortunately one of her babies passed away recently. He was a 15-year-old Weimaraner, and let’s just say 15 years is awesome for that type of dog. I am sure her heart is just terrible broken. So I sent her a card today hopefully to cheer her up.

Her pup ate peanut butter from the jar and would walk through the house going up to anyone willing to hold it up for him to get to the bottom. This is how I first met him. LOL

The Card

I created my background with a combination of stamps including Pampered Pets from Stampin’ Up! and Tim Holts Crazy Dogs and Cats mini. I stamped images and colored them in with Stampin’ Blends. I then sponged some Seaside Spray around to add some color. It was just too WHITE.

My dog is from the Tim Holtz Crazy Dogs and Cats set. I colored him with Stampin’ Blends Smoky Slate and Gray Granite. Cut him out and placed him atop of a die-cut from the Stitched so Sweetly dies. The Pacific Point background is cut from the Tasteful Labels Dies. I love these dies with the stitching around them. This added to the dimension and interest of the card.

I hope this card warms her heart and lets her know her precious baby will be waiting for her at the end of the rainbow bridge probably with his peanut butter jar around his snout. Hehe
