Peaceful Poppies designer series paper is the bomb!! This new DSP makes for such easy and quick anything. Cards, bookmarks, tags, you name it and it is done. I have not been in love with a DSP since the Share what you love DSP in the 2018-2019 annual catalog. You will find that I have decided to cut it and use its method this time. I have already cut my cardstock down into 6 x 6 pieces. This allows me to be creative with a smaller amount and have plenty for other projects. My goal is to do some inchies with this suite. I can not wait until I have time and space to do this for you.
The Card
- Base 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4 in Balmy Blue
- DSP Peaceful Poppies 1 3/4 x 5 1/4
- Whisper White 2 1/2 x 5 1/4
- Stamp the poppy field stamp from the Painted Poppies set then use the splatter stamp to put some color in your poppies. I used Poppy Parade (147050), and Flirty Flamingo (147052).
- Take your watercolor pencils and use Balmy Blue and Pool Party to put some color in the sky. I then used an aqua painter to blend it in. A blender pen would work here as well may not give you as blended as you would like but it will work.
- The Sentiment is on a 1/2 inch by 5 1/4 inch piece of whisper white cardstock stamped in Momento Black centered and punched out with the Triple Banner Punch on both sides. I used Old Olive on the edges.
- I used Very Vanilla scalloped lace to cover the line in the two pieces of cardstock. Placing my sentiment on top of this using dimentionals. I added a bit of sparkle with the gold enamel dots which have sold out.
