This one took some time to come to me. All I knew when I created it for her was that I wanted Birds and the Petal Burst embossing folder. The rest came from scraps that I had from other experiments gone awry. You know when you are trying to decide what color of ink to use on what color of cardstock? So I had these left over and I though well lets see how it looks. I am quit impressed with how it turned out. A bit of this and a bit of that turned out perfect. I have a crafty friend whom celebrated her birthday about a month ago. Every birthday is a gift but hers is extra special. I wanted to make her a card that I knew she would love. She has bird feeders outside of her windows so that she can watch them all the time. I thought this one would be perfect for her.
I used one of my old time favorite ideas with using aluminum tape for your A/C ducts. You tape it over a piece of cardstock and emboss it. I then punched out my little birds. You can also use plain aluminum foil for the project. This does not stay in place very well but it works non the less.
For this card you will need the following:
- Bird Punch (retired)
- Aluminum A/C Duct work Tape (find at your hardware store)
- Flourish embossing folder (non SU for retired birds)
- Happy Birthday Stamp (Non SU)
- Bow Builder
- Random inside sentiment (non SU)
