Pinewood Planks with Forever Fern

I am on a roll with my fall cards this week. I actually got them all made in on or two days. Using the color palate from the Gilded Autumn paper has just spun my creativity that I am not sure I can stop. I have a few other things going through my head. I will be working on a sampler for fall with some of the crafty friends in a week or so. I will be using the same color palate as well.

I can not wait to see what everyone comes up with. I finally got my hands on some of the Gilded Autumn paper only a 6 x 12 of each sheet. It is a start since it is still on backorder until November 30th, 2020. At that rate, I will not be in the autumn mood anymore. Thanks, Sandy!!!

Now let’s get onto the card for today. The Pinewood Plank embossing folder is the star of this card even though it has so many other elements. I have always been fascinated with sunflowers on wood for some reason or another. I started playing with the Celebrate Sunflowers set and had the ferns out on my table from another project. This idea was just a spark of let’s see what this will look like with this done to it. Some days I just start playing with the paper to see what it will look like. This time I really liked what happened. I am not so sure about the ferns on top but I am sure I could redo it and come up with a better arrangement that would make me happier.
