I am gonna start off by saying how much I love the Poinsettia Petals bundle and I SOOOO want it. The problem is I have a tiny house and I craft in 95 sq foot Crafting Cottage. I have to be pretty picky with what I purchase. With that said my husband purchased me a Brother Scan and Cut SDX125. This one is not the top of the line but the middle grade. It will scan stuff with a higher resolution if I need it to, and it will cut in color or black and white. It will scan what I want to cut and then cut it too. This is a game-changer for me. All those Gnomes I have been doing I have not cut one out by hand yet. Same with the Way to Goat stamp set.
I decided I wanted to make a wreath and was contemplating purchasing the dies for the Poinsetta Petals and make the wreath with that. These dies do emboss the veins into the leaves just perfectly. Check out the video below.
I started doing research and found an SVG file that I liked and I could import it for about 2 dollars. So I purchased the SVG file and tried my hand at cutting out the leaves and petals. Game changer, I was able to make them any size I wanted. LOVE! Just check out the video I did on how I created these with my scan and cut.
I am so stoked at how it came out. Now just to find that perfect spot to hang it in the Crafty Cottage or maybe the door on the inside of the tiny house.
Here is a list of supplies you will need to recreate them. You can either use the die cuts to create these or crafters cutting machines such as the Brother Scan and Cut or Cricut. Either way, you will get a beautiful project.
NON-Stampin’ Up! Items

a lot of these are retired. I like to use them up while doing my Through back Thursdays or a Flashback Friday. Any of our pinks would be beautiful for this project. Blushing Bride, Petal Pink, or something richer Magenta Madness. There is always room for red as well such as a Real Red or Cherry Cobbler. The choice is yours.
