The polychromatic class was fun and exciting. I loved all the techniques in the type used in this class—some of the methods I have used before. I will show you some examples later in this post.
I love the cherry option of multiple colors. So this was the one I decided to do for you. I did not have many stamps that are solid from Altenew except this pretty little one called Butterfly Kisses. I like this one, and it is so fun to play with as it is.
I am not sure I was a fan of the raised sentiment cut from the card front. So I created another one for you to see with a different colored sentiment.
I created the same card here, just with a different sentiment color.
With this card, I used clear embossing powder to create some texture on the wings of my butterflies. I used an embossing pen (versamark pen). You can click the picture below to get one yourself. This thing is quite versatile.
I also added an edge die that cuts in a scalloped edge with a bit of embossing on the edges.
My colors are all primary colors: Yellow, Red, Purple, Blue, Green, and pink.
The other two techniques she used were a watercolor technique using markers on your stamps and spritzing them to get a watercolor effect. You can check out my blog post with a video doing this technique. I also tried my hand at it using the oriental poppy stamp set from Altenew. You can see that result below.
We also did some other techniques with online coloring. First, you stamp the flower image and color it with alcohol markers. Here are my two tries at this.
I hope you enjoyed today’s post.
Happy Crafting,
Amy

That is a super fun card. I also like the one with the light purple flowers. Thank you so much for submitting your work to the AECP assignment gallery.
