Pour Art has been all the rage for the last few years. I have wanted to try it for years. My only drawback is that I would rather do a smaller scale than a canvas. Pour Art is usually found on canvases. After doing some research, I saw a few folks pouring Art on paper. Doing pour art on paper is done as a practice piece for the artist. I thought, well, why not. So I decided to try it out. Here is what I came up with the cards below.
I was pretty pleased with the results. I am so looking forward to some warmer days without the rain so that I can get back to doing some more pour painting. I have a video for you here to check out.
Card Base for a 4 x 6 pour art card.
To get the card base on the card with no seam since the pour art is 4 x 6 inches, I cut one piece of thick cardstock 4 x 6 1/2 scored at 1/2. Next, I put take on the inside of that 1/2 inch piece. I then cut another 4 x 6 and placed it into the flap, which stuck inside with no seam. Then place the pour art piece over the top covering the seam.
