First we are going to start with a Sale!! If you follow me on facebook at Stampin with a heart by Amy Kinler Designs then you already know about this sale. Are you ready???
Click the picture for the link to the sale.
These cards will be for a local Nursing home from our church. I have several samples for our Women’s group to choose from. I wanted cards that were easy to make and not too expensive to make. You know it can get a bit expensive when you are making 150 cards with some embellishments. LOL
I will post all the pictures today, please let me know which one you like in the comments. I will draw a winner randomly from the comments once the card is decided upon. I will post directions throughout the next month on the cards.
For the final card, you can select from and the card with instruction and what you need to complete it. I am not a fan of Poinsettias but with this Faux Silk technique it looks absolutely wonderful. The stamp set has a 3 stamp process, but I choose not to do the outline of the leaves (the first Stamp). I find it makes it looks a bit water colored this way.
To do the Faux Silk technique, you stamp your images on a piece of tissue paper and then ball it up into a roll. Then gently pull it apart and place it on your glued cardstock, and voila’. Check out this link on how to use the Reason for the Season stamp set by Christine.
For this card, you will need the following:
Cardstock/Inks
- Cherry Cobbler Cardstock
- Whisper White Cardstock
- White Tissue Paper (non-SU)
- Cherry Cobbler Classic Stamp Pad
- Old Olive Classic Stamp Pad
- Momento Tuxedo Black
Stamps/Accessories
- Reason for the Season Stamp Set
- Gold Glitz Dazzling Details
- Gold Glittered ribbon (non-SU)
- Curvy Corner Trio Punch
Remember I will post all the pictures today, please let me know which one you like in the comments. I will draw a winner randomly from the comments once the card is decided upon. I will post directions throughout the next month on the other cards. If you have won one of my blog candy or other contests within the last year you aren’t eligible. Sorry ladies, I have to share the wealth. So leave your comments.
