Rooted in Nature and Beautiful You Stamp Sets, what could go wrong? Absolutely nothing. I watched a video on Glycerin sponging by Gail on her Youtube Channel. Well, thank you, Gail, for teaching me a new technique. I love it. I decided to put Beautiful You with the dancing lady into the mix and add some masking on the card. I came up with this.
Just check it out.
I mean who wouldn’t want to be rooted in nature if that were what you could be rooted too? Sorry for the pun, but it is true. I love both of these two sets and I do hope they will not be on the retiring list that comes out later this month. Check back with me later this month to find out what has been retired so you can be sure to get what you want to get before they are gone.
I created a video for this particular card so you can see how to create this fantastic card. Remember that no two will be the same which is perfect because no two trees are the same either. Just like in nature. Below are the dimensions for the cardstock and a list of supplies. The video will follow.
Cardstock Sizes
Soft Seafoam 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches scored at 4 1/4
Garden Green 5 1/4 x 4 inches
Whisper White 5 x 3 3/4 inches
Supply List below does not include Glycerin and the Masking sheets. The ones that I use are Stamping mask paper from INKADINKADO. I order it from Amazon as an add on. You can use anything you want even a post-it note works well too.
Remember this is the first video I have done in a very long time and I have not been feeling well. I came home from North Caroline with some kind of crud. Finally feeling a bit better and tried my hand at videoing. This is only the 4th time I have done this one. Hahaha
If you would like to check out Gail’s site you can check her out here.
I hope you enjoy today’s post and do try to do the card. Please send comments on things that I need to do for improvement on the video as I am still learning how to do this. The first thing I want to do is add lighting. Remember if your reading this in your email some services do not show the videos you will need to go to the link here.
Happy Crafin,
Amy
